Partial Booking and Cancellation Policy
Service Provider’s Partial Booking understanding Steps
Trip Display
The service provider will list trips on the Sail app, such as one scheduled for a period of date, with a minimum requirement of 5 participants and a maximum of 10. (period selecting optional to service providers)
Agreement Confirmation
Users will encounter an agreement page stating that if the minimum number of participants is not reached within 24 hours, the service provider has the right to either cancel the trip or proceed with the participants currently booked.
Notification Prior to Trip
A notification will be sent 28 hours before the scheduled trip to inform users that the participant count is insufficient, presenting the following options:
- Accept the trip with the current number of participants.
- Reschedule the trip to a later date, ensuring the minimum participant requirement is met or accepting the current count.
- Recommend an alternative service provider if available.
- Discuss with fellow service requesters to share the total cost, requiring unanimous agreement. If any participant disagrees, the trip will be canceled.
- Cancel the trip.
Booking and Payment Procedures
Upon acceptance of the trip, the service requester may proceed with payment. After payment is confirmed, a group chat will be initiated for all participants. Payments for partial or individual bookings must be conducted exclusively through the digital wallet. Service requesters have the option to book multiple seats for a trip, such as for a group of friends.
App Policy
The policy stipulates that the payment amount will be transferred to the service provider’s wallet following the completion of the trip. If the service provider requests a financial settlement, the transfer will occur within 48 hours.
Participant Minimum and Payment Conditions
Once the minimum number of participants is achieved, and the trip is confirmed and paid for, the service provider is not permitted to cancel the trip. However, they may reschedule by communicating with the service requesters. Should the service provider fail to honor the trip, they are required to issue a full refund and cover any associated transfer fees, with the refunded amount reflected as negative in their wallet. Users will be notified that failure to comply with these terms may result in account suspension or deletion from the app.
Visibility of Booking Numbers
Service requesters will be able to view the number of participants booked for each trip. A policy page will be provided, indicating that once payment has been made and 24 hours have elapsed, cancellations are not permitted, and refunds will not be granted.
Options for Service Requesters
A dedicated page will offer service requesters the following options:
- If the minimum participant requirement is not met 26 hours before the trip, they may choose to split the remaining costs among themselves, requiring unanimous agreement.
- Switch to another available service provider.
- Cancel the trip.
Age and Identity Verification Policy
Service requesters must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration. An identification card must be presented at the time of meeting to commence the trip. Failure to arrive on time may result in the trip commencing without a refund.
